Promoting the compatibility of family and career - that is our highest goal.

As a non-profit organisation, profawo operates the kids & co day-care centres under its own label and organises the care of relatives in the care & co offer. The "co" in profawo's service brands symbolises the proximity to our member companies, i.e. employers, which makes our services unique in Switzerland.

profawo has six local offices in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich and Ticino.

The organisation is financed through the sale of services related to reconciliation, but also through its member companies, which strive to provide the best family management support for their employees. Employees of member companies receive numerous discounts and benefit from free services.

The associations profawo Berne, profawo Zurich and profawo Switzerland are managed by an honorary board of directors. The board is composed of personalities with expertise in a specific field, representatives of member companies or have an excellent network in politics, which is becoming increasingly important for the topic of childcare.
